Senior InLine Hockey has been played at the rink within building 3 of the House of Sport since 2015.
In 2019 plans were announced to upgrade the facilities to provide a 1500 seat spectator arena for a number of sports including netball, futsal and tennis. State of the art broadcasting would also be installed.
To accommodate this much needed arena plans were also published for the House of Sport to constuct a new facility a few miles away at Ocean Park. A new 50 x 25 rink will be part of this development.
Due to the pandemic the plans have been delayed but building work has carried on at a slower pace.
In the meantime Inline Hockey will continue at the House of Sport until the Ocean Park Arena is complete.

As per previous notices, can all hockey players avoid changing, standing or loitering behind the tennis courts. This will both avoid distracting tennis players and ensure there are no health and safety issues.

Please do not kick, roll or pass the tennis balls back to them. Whilst they appreciate this is intended as a helpful gesture they are happy to get them themselves as it can sometimes be offputting and dangerous if they are playing.

The reason tennis classes are often next to the rink is that the other courts are offered for booking for walk ons. The tennis academy don't know until the last minute if they are being used or not. These walk ons will often request not to be next to the rink which is why Diamond Tennis use that court.
